demonstrates its interpretation of human experience." For millions of African
Americans, the Kwanzaa holiday is our way of determining our direction. It's provides us
the opportunity to reflect upon the holiday's seven principles, among them creativity,
cooperation, and faith, which are considered the foundation of successful societies,
Kwanzaa is a time for reinforcing bonds, not only domestic and historical but also
economic.
